Today I tried using Google Docs. I started with a Word file of our Fall 2007 guide to Geology/Maps that we distribute to classes. I copied the file and pasted it into Google Docs. I then copied our Spring 2008 hours from our web site and edited the hours portion of the document. I can see where Google Docs would be beneficial when you have a document like this that several people could to have access to and be able to edit. Though the number of fonts is limited compared to Word, there were still several fonts to choose from.
