Facebook and Orkut

Last night I finally had some free time (while also watching American Idol) to finally sign up for a Facebook account. I can see how this social networking online can be addictive. You do a search, see a familiar face or name, and want to find out more. I searched for a few friends and relatives (not many of them are on Facebook), added a friend, and joined a couple of UK Library groups. Joined and took a quick look at Orkut. It looks to be similar to Facebook. Just don't know if I'll have the time to do much more than that this week.
